Blue Crab

One of the earliest marline life works I created, this piece went out to my dad. While the vivid blues of the blue crab are not something naturally found along the Pacific Northwest coast, I was drawn to its delicate structure and vibrant coloration. In contrast to the bold reds of the dungeness, this piece focuses on softer detail layered texture, and quiet beauty of the species.
